WHAT DOES WOKE MEAN? There are multiple slang definitions to the word WOKE. We like this one:
“Woke means being conscious of racial discrimination in society and other forms of oppression and injustice. In mainstream use, woke can also more generally describe someone or something as being “with it.” (dictionary.com) The WOKE TAY Art Group is delivered by one or more trainee therapists overseen by their supervisors and reported to ACTS management. If supplies are needed a pre-activity email will be sent approximately one month in advance so participants have time to obtain or prepare for the activity. Please be sure to include your First, last name, email, and phone number to jump-start your ACTS referral for FREE Some examples of groups:

The Groups will be designed based on referenced source information from those who have practiced in the field or comparable alternatives as needed. All methods intended have been used before and by an Eco-Art Therapist with experience in the field. These may be modified for any covid-19 safety restrictions such as being offered solely on Zoom.
